Welcome

We invite members of the tour to share their impressions and pictures on this blog. Most of our group arrives in Germany on March 13th. Our tour starts in Leipzig, Saxony - where J. S. Bach worked for many years as music director at St Thomas Kirche. Our first full concert is on March 14 in Halle, Sachsen-Anhalt, where composer Handel was born. On March 15, we take a day trip to Eisenach, where we will see Wartburg Castle, and other points of interest relating to Martin Luther and J.S. Bach.

Early on March 16 we leave for Prague (Czech Republic), stopping in Dresden along the way, where we will tour FrauenKirche, and have a short concert there.
