We arrived safely at the airport with the help of an excellent driver, David Dean. The woman at the Lufthansa desk checked us in inabout 2.5 minutes, with a very friendly attitude. We then went through security, and the only hiccup was that I had to take my shoes off, but that was OK because it cleared quite a path around us, and we sailed through in about 6 minutes, tops.
We headed towards Gate 172, and on the way stopped for a bite to eat and a coffee at Tims. I was lucky in rolling up the rim, as I won a "Play Again" message.
One of the customers ahead of me took her purchase, and walked off leaving a piece of luggage behind. That caused quite a stir as the Timmy staff weren't sure what to do, so they put it in front of their counter and left it there.
45 minutes later there was an announcement caling for the owner to report to Tim Hortons. They must have checked the name on the tag. Duhh!
Just a few minutes ago, another announcement came on asking people on our flight to move from Gate 172 to 175. Elfrieda just went to check out Gate 175, and says the scenery is better - besides I can get a plug there for my laptop, so I will now post this message, and we'll get everything moved over.
