You reach the Aula by heading up the stairs to the next level.
Elfrieda and David find the statue of Handel in the downtown square. Handel was born in Halle.
We had lunch in a second floor restaurant. Here's the view of the square - bottom left is Handel watching over it all, and wondering about the trams.
