It`s time for our group to arrive

This morning we again had breakfast at Gerhard and Marita's apartment. After visiting for a while, we decided to head over to the Penta Hotel so that we could be there when the group arrives. We waited in the lobby visiting with them and then Alma Scovil showed up, after which Jane's parent's came. Gerhard took a picture of the five of us, and then Gerhard and Marita decided to leave for their home.

Elfrieda and I sat reading in the lobby, and then she went up to our room. At about 12:45 I got a call from the tour leader that they had managed 2/3 of the trip from Frankfurt, and were stopping for lunch. She suggested that they would finish at 1, and would be there around 2. Elfrieda (back downstairs now) and I then chatted with the Esders and Scovils before they decided to set off exploring a bit of the Leipzig innenstadt. Then we sat down for some lunch.

It is now 2:20 and we are back up in the room still waiting for the arrival of our group. It`s a good thing that our window overlooks the arrival spot at the front door. My guess is that they will get here sometime between 3 and 4 pm.

Most will probably be too tired to participate in the orientaion, and then our scheduled rehearsal at 4 pm.
